As a boy I was always curious about how the Lion tamer, armed with only a whip and a chair, controlled those big cats. How did he keep those big cats from leaping on him and munching him up? I thought his control might lie in the whip, but a Lion is scarcely intimidated by a man holding a whip. This would be like a 300 pound Gorilla trembling before a Nat.
The key to the Lion tamer's safety lies in the chair, not the whip. Holding the chair so the legs face the big cat, the cat is confused as to which leg to focus on and attack.
This is why many people don't accomplish very much in their lifetime. By failing to focus on one particular objective or goal, they go chasing after many things, never giving anything enough time or attention to blossom into success.
